Kite Foiling Lessons: Woosh!
Tired of sitting on the sidelines in light wind? Or maybe you have dreams of becoming an Olympian, and you see kiteboarding as your in! Foilboarding, kitefoiling, foiling, hydrofoiling, are different names for one of the most exhilarating forms of kiteboarding. Whether you want to glide slow or ride fast, we offer foil lessons suited for every kiter, no matter what you want to call it. It’s perfectly fine to embark on this mission on your own, but learning to foil with professional instruction will get you further faster. From theory and skills to tips and safety at Cabarete Kite Point Kiteboarding School we have specialty instructors for kitesurfers looking to get up and riding on the foil board.
Am I ready for kite foiling lessons?
Your riding level will be assessed before we start according to the international standards for what is considered to be a Level 4 Advanced Rider.
What can I learn during kite foiling?
What you can learn will depend entirely on you. Each session caters to the student’s individual needs. Here are some ideas of what you can learn: setup the foil board and make adjustments, safety steps for foiling, core skills of foiling, launching with the foil board, board handling in the water, putting the board on your feet, controlling the lift, ride above the water on the foil, body drag with the foil board, foil water start, riding upwind, change direction, self-rescue.

LESSONS: Insurance on the gear is included in the price in case something gets broken during your lesson.
RENTAL: Be sure to inspect the gear before you take it. You will be held responsible for the repair or replacement costs of whatever you break.
